Traffic Relief

As of 7am this morning the Downtown Bridges have been reopened to the public and I-380 left lane restriction has been lifted. The intersections downtown do not have signals, so they are all being treated as a 4-way stop intersection. The curfew for flood affected areas is still in effect.

Bregoli!! Wow, man, thanks so much for doing this blog. For those of us not living in the area anymore, ANY information/pictures are hugely appreciated. I still can't wrap my head around all the pictures and stories I've seen & heard. Just totally surreal.

It's been very difficult to be so far away and totally unable to help in any way - sandbagging, handing out water, whatever.

I'm so very proud of my state and its people, and the way everyone has responded and reacted, and the way everyone has helped each other out...
We are Iowa, and we cannot be defeated.

Hope all is well (as much as it can be, anyway) with you John.
Peace.
